The Collection La Razón Áurea of the Editorial Comares results from the fruitful cooperation between IDT researchers and computer systems engineers from Intelligent Software Components (iSOCO) —a spin-off of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (Instituto de Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial (IIIA-CSIC).

La Razón Áurea has two different publication series, called Obras Clave and Investigaciones. The Obras Clave series aims at publishing fundamental works in the areas of artificial intelligence, computer sciences, cognitive sciences and social sciences. These are basic works of reference for the contemporary scientific culture that provide an overall perspective of an author’s area of research. The Investigación series focuses on dissemination of results from different research groups that collaborate with the IDT. Publications typically consist of editions of specialized articles on a particular topic. These two publication series, in sum, reflect both the individual and collective effort put in contemporary research, as well as the synergies required to obtain successful results.
